WE COLLABORATE Our focus isn't just on film making. Call us idealists, but we aim to build positive relationships, understanding & opportunities for people here in the West and in the developing world. As people share their stories and ideas with us, we're going to share those ideas with you in our videos, blog, newsletters, community listings and live events. Our aim is to be an unbiased vessel for information and ideas. Hey, we're not experts, we're media makers. So we're meeting experts and with regular folks to help them get connected. The VC community is an on-line network of socially responsible businesses (SRB), non-profit organizations (NPO), artists and individuals with a common goal: to build relationships, foster understanding and to create opportunities between grassroots communities in the developing world and the West. VC then connects this on-line community with specific rural communities in the developing world through film, video and photography. Why are we doing this? Because, like many of you, we believe there is a great need for collaboration between socially committed individuals and organizations. Together we become a strong force for change. Our on-line community is constantly engaged through fresh interactive content and reports on sustainability projects within rural communities of Africa and soon the rest of the developing world.
